Soul Sega Sa ! Indian Ocean Segas From 70s VOL.2 LP

Soul Sega Sa!, Indian Ocean Segas From the 70s Vol. 2 is a vinyl compilation exploring the golden era of sega from Mauritius and the wider Indian Ocean. Focusing on rare 1970s recordings, the selection captures a moment when traditional sega rhythms met soul, funk, rock and psychedelic influences through electric instruments and early studio experimentation. Curated and released by Les Disques Bongo Joe in collaboration with FolkWelt, the compilation brings together both key figures and overlooked artists of the period, restoring and celebrating an essential chapter of Creole musical history. Artwork by Félix Vincent (flx7.wordpress.com).
