Lézard Vert - Zoun, Teddy, Kiki & Philippe (2020 Reissue) LPLézard Vert

A crucial piece of Réunion Island's musical history, "Lézard Vert" is the legendary 1983 instrumental fusion album featuring Zoun (Jean-Michel Toquet), Teddy Baptiste, Kiki Mariapin, and Jean-Philippe Bideau. Originally released only on cassette, this is the essential 2020 vinyl reissue from the collaboration between Kréol Art x BABANI.

"Lézard Vert" was a pioneering project, exploring the fertile ground between jazz-rock fusion, progressive rock, and the island's own Maloya and Sega rhythms. Expect intricate guitar work by Teddy Baptiste, atmospheric keyboards, and driving rhythms that capture the innovative spirit of the early electric Maloya scene. A deeply influential and sought-after album, finally available on high-quality vinyl.
